| Course Objective |
Students will learn abstract logical reasoning skills and apply them to various writing situations in which a synthesis of multiple rhetorical forms is required. English writing II is an extention course of English writing I. Students taking this course are supposed to have acquired knowledge and skills of basic English academic writing. Therefore, this course is aimed to refine students' writing skills in terms of dictions and organization of research paper.

The textbook for this course is Academic Writing for Graduate Students. In this semester we will cover topics of the purpose,organization, and style of academic writing, Definition, writing summaries, writing critiques,and consturcting a research paper (introduction, APA style, and literature review).
