Grades will be based on an average of all assignments [Reading Notebook; quizzes and tests; short writing assignments, etc.]

Absences from class will be reflected in the final grade for the course.

Students are expected to be active participants in all activities.


Textbook & Reference

Authentic materials from various media sources; some will be selected by students for their reading notebooks. Class readings will be selected by the instructor.
